I agree with Bill Johnson.<\/span><\/p>\n

God is Good!<\/span><\/p>\n

I’ve been seeing a variation on the ad above on my Facebook <\/span>newsfeed fairly regularly for a few weeks now. It is advertising\u00a0<\/span>a new course and book, as far as I can ascertain without <\/span>clicking on the link, which focuses on Gods Goodness. <\/span><\/p>\n

I believe that the Goodness of God is one of the most\u00a0<\/span>important truths that the church should be seeking to\u00a0<\/span>communicate to the world. <\/span><\/p>\n

I also suffer from mental health problems,\u00a0<\/span>in particular depression. <\/span><\/p>\n

I hold the two statements – that God is Good and His\u00a0<\/span>Goodness is good news – in tension every day. Earlier this \u00a0<\/span>week, a friend on Facebook shared this song\/spoken word\u00a0<\/span>piece about pain and suffering and the glory of God:<\/span><\/p>\n
