Having reviewed a couple of Lent books – one which Justin Welby liked but I didn’t like, and one that gloried in the biblical vision of the Cross – I was inspired to write about Lent.
I had to do that on work time. So I wrote some Lent reflections, which London City Mission shared on Wednesdays and Sundays via the blog and social media throughout Lent 2019.
They are focused on 15 words that are key to understanding Jesus’ journey to the Cross.
Each word relates to a Bible passage, and suggests something to pray for and a way to respond to the challenge of the Word.
